The handheld touch screen only requires a single click. If you double click, multiple instances of that program will open. This will cause memory issues with the application, it will not function properly and could cause the application to lock up. If you get a debug error upon opening RMS, if it looks like you have to enter your password more than once, or you see a different RMS screen when switching between functions, try the following to close out any other open RMS applications:
- Click the house icon at the top of your screen (it will take you back to the appcenter, the screen with all of the icons)
- When you get to the appcenter click Memory
- Once the Memory application opens click the third tab along the bottom Running Programs
- If you see multiple listings with the same title click stop all to clear out the list, if you get an error message about ending a task then reboot the handheld.
- Once you have cleared the list click ok in the top right hand corner to get back to the appcenter and try opening RMS by clicking ONCE
- If you had to reboot your handheld, once it comes back up try opening RMS by clicking ONCE
Please post comments about other issues you might be having when double clicking an application.
How could we make this more helpful?
